HOW TO ROOT THE HUAWEI FUSION 2 (AT&T)

So you have decided to root your Huawei Fusion 2 smartphone on AT&T? Great decision you have made. Once rooted, you’ll have access to thousands of root-only apps and a load of custom development, something you can’t get on your unrooted device. So, here’s how you can root your Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T) smartphone:BY EditAndroid

I. Before You Begin:

1. As you may already know, this will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. This should work on Windows based PCs only.

3. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get them from here.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Root Package

III. Rooting the Huawei Fusion 2 (AT&T):

1. Place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop. Make sure you’ve fastboot.exe file on your Desktop.

3. Turn OFF your device.

4. Turn it back on by holding down Volume DOWN+Power buttons together for about ten seconds.

5. You should now be in Fastboot mode.

6. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

7. Double-click on Run Me.bat file available on your Desktop.

8. Type in following command:

fastboot devices

9. You should see your device in the list of devices attached to your PC.

10. Now issue the following command to flash the recovery on your device:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.superrecovery.img

11. Once the recovery’s been flashed, unplug your device from your PC.

12. Pull the battery out of your device.

13. Put it back in after a few seconds.

14. Now press and hold the Volume UP+Power buttons together and you should boot into the Recovery mode.

15. Select reboot device option in the Recovery mode and your device will reboot.

16. You’re done!

Brilliant! Your device has been successfully rooted.
