Before You Begin:
- Method is tested & working on Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus Android 4.2 Jellybean only.
- You need a windows based PC or Laptop.
- Download & Install Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus USB Drivers in your PC.
- Enable USB Debugging in your device.Click Here if you don't know how to.
- Charge your device 60% minimum.
- Make a backup of device data for safety.
Download Required Files:
- Samsung Odin V3.07 (Download Odin v3.07 only)
- Pre-Rooted Stock Firmware For Galaxy S2 Plus I9105
- Pre-Rooted Stock Firmware For Galaxy S2 Plus I9105P
How To Root Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus:
- Download & Extract Odin v3.07.zip file in your desktop.
- Download & Extract the Pre-Rooted Stock Firmware .tar.md5 file in your desktop.
- Turn off your device.
- Boot your device in Download Mode by pressing & holding Volume Down+Home Button+Power Button together.
- You should see a warning message,Press Volume Up and continue.
- Now your device is in Download Mode.
- Open the Odin v3.07 extracted folder and locate and run Odin3 v3.07.exe file.
- Now connect your device to PC with USB cable.
- Wait until is shows a Added message in the lower left message box and ID:COM will turn yellow.
- After your device is connected with Odin successfully.
- Click on PDA button and select the Pre-Rooted Stock Firmware .tar.md5 file.(You Extracted & Downloaded by You)
- Make sure that Auto Reboot is checked & Repartition is unchecked.
- Click on the Start button and Flashing proccess will begin.
- A green color PASS message will appear after a successful flashing.
- Your device shall reboot automatically now.
Congrats!!! Your Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus is rooted now..:D
