1. Before You Begin:

  • Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 (Check it: On Settings>About Device)
  • Windows-based computer or laptop
  • Download Samsung Galaxy S4 USB driver for Windows and install in your computer.
  • Skip this step if you have installed the Samsung Kies.
  • Enable USB Debugging on your device.
  • Make sure your phone is charged to 60% 80% to avoid battery blackout and interruption during this tutorial.
  • We recommend you make a backup on your data and media files before the tutorial.

2. Download Required Files:

3. Root Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505:

  • Make sure you done all the steps of Before You Begin & Download Section.
  • Turn off your device.
  • Now press & hold Volume Down + Home Button + Power Key.You should see a Android logo press power button again to enter into Download Mode.
  • Download & Extract the ODin v3.07 and launch Odinv3.07.exe from the extracted files.
  • Connect your device to PC with USB cable.
  • Wait for detect by Odin , when it is detected a Added message will appear in the lower left message box and Com Port turn yellow.
  • Download & Extract the Autoroot tools and you get a .tar.md5 file.
  • Click on PDA button in Odin and select the .tar.md5 file.
  • Make sure Auto Reboot is ticked & Repartition is unticked in ODin.
  • Click on Start button and a flashing process will start in odin.
  • Now your device will reboot into recovery mode & rooting process will be carried out.
Your Device is rooted now...
