Install Unofficial CyanogenMod 14 on Android One Sprout

Most of the developers already started woking on the CyanogenMod 14 Android 7.0 Nougat. And varun.chitre15 is one of them, who recently released the CyanogenMod 14 for Android One Sprout phones. Since this is an early Alpha build, there are several major important features that are not working, which will make it difficult for people to adopt it as their prime daily driver. So it up to you that you want to install the latest Unofficial CyanogenMod 14 on Android One Sprout or not.
As per the developer of CyanogenMod 14 Everything except a) Video decoding & encoding b) Cellular data are working fine on phone, and very soon he is going to release the new build with all working features. So let’s take a look how to install the CyanogenMod 14 on Android One.

 CHECK PHONE MODEL

This guide is only for the Android One Sprout smartphone. Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. So, first confirm your phone model number in your android phone settings. To do this Go the Settings page of your device and check out the “About Device” option.

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. CHARGE YOUR ANDROID

If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

1) Download both CyanogenMod 14 and Gapps and save it on your Nexus 4 phone.
2) Now Boot Android One into Recovery mode by press and hold “Volume Down+Power Button.”
3) In recovery mode do a Factory Reset. Go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System, and data and swipe to confirm it.
3) Now go back. Select Install and locate the ROM zip file & swipe to Install the ROM file. After the process completes, Flash the GApps zip file.
5) Now wipe cache & Dalvik cache again and Reboot your device.
