Root the Celkon A98
Celkon A98 is an Android smartphone launched in the year 2013 and as you may expect, it runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board. If you’ve just picked-up this device and wishing to root it, probably to install root-only apps and do things that you can’t do without root, then this guide is certainly going to help you. Just follow the steps given in the following guide to root your Celkon A98 and get Superuser app running on it.

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get them from here.

III. Rooting the Celkon A98:

1. Download and place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been enabled, connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Double-click on the RunMe.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.
6. Select first option in the tool and it’ll start rooting your device.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
8. And you should be rooted now!
Brilliant! Your Celkon A98 has been successfully rooted and is ready to be equipped with a custom recovery!
