So you have rooted your Dell XCD28 smartphone but now want to unroot it so you can enjoy the warranty-goodies? No problem, we’ll help you do just that. Unrooting the Dell XCD28 is as easy as rooting it, all you need to do is just follow the following guide and you should be unrooted at the end. So, here you go:

I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, then the following procedure may or may not work for you.
2. Your device needs to have at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. z4Root APK
III. Unrooting the Dell XCD28:
1. Place the z4Root APK file on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
3. Copy the APK file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Make sure that the Unknown sources option is enabled on your device. You can enable it from Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.
6. Install the APK file you copied earlier using any File Manager app available on your device.
7. Once installed, open it from your Menu.
8. Tap on UnRoot device button in the app and it’ll start unrooting your device.
9. Your device will be unrooted within a few seconds.
10. And you’re done!
Great! Your device has been successfully unrooted and there’s no sign of root on your device.
