Root and Install TWRP recovery on Galaxy J3

TWRP recovery is now available for the Samsung Galaxy J3 Android smartphone. This one is the official TWRP recovery, not the modified or unofficial. All credit goes to the TEAMWIN team to releasing the TWRP recovery for the Galaxy J3 Smartphone. Now with the help of this TWRP recovery, you can quickly flash the Super SU Zip file and rooted your phone. Here in this guide, i will show you how to TWRP recovery on Galaxy J3 and get the root access.
Note: Make sure you backup all important files on your phone before proceeding.

2. Now Download Odin 3.10.7 here to flash the recovery file on your phone. Unzip the folder
3. Now Enable OEM unlock on Your phone. To do this go to Settings » About phone » and tap “Build number” seven times to enable “Developer options”.
Now back to the Settings page,> “Developer options”. Under Developer options, look for “Enable OEM unlock” checkbox/toggle and make sure you Check it or turn it ON.
4. Boot Galaxy J3 in download mode. To do this turn off your android. Press and hold “Home + Power + Volume down” buttons for a few seconds until you see a warning screen.
Now press the Volume Up on the warning screen to accept it and boot into Download mode.
5. Once your phone in download mode, use the USB cable to connect your phone to the PC.
6. Now run the ODIN.exe file that you downloaded above.
7. On the ODIN screen, you will see the “Added!!” message.
8. Now click on the AP tab on Odin window and select the TWRP recovery .tar file that you downloaded for your device.
NOTE: on- Don’t select or check any other option in the ODIN screen.
9. Click the Start button in Odin and wait for it to finish the process.
10. Once the flashing process is done, you will see the pass message on the Odin screen.
Your device will automatically reboot when Odin is done flashing. You can then disconnect your device.
11. Now to root the phone. Download SuperSU v2.78 (latest) here and save the zip file on your phone.
12. Boot your device into TWRP recovery. Switch off your Phone and hold “Home + Power + Volume Up” buttons for a few seconds and as soon as you see your device’ logo on-screen, release three buttons altogether. Your device will boot into TWRP recovery.
13. Tap on “Install” and select the SuperSU zip file and flash the same on your phone to get the root access.
14. Once SuperSU is flashed, you’ll get “Reboot System” option, select it.
That’s it! Now your phone is rooted, and TWRP recovery installed on Galaxy J3

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL USB DRIVERS

First you need to Setup ADB and Fastboot Drivers on windows PC. This will help you to send basic linux commands, and a variety Android specific commands from PC to connected Android devices.

Now you need to install the USB drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.

3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE

Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.

4. CHARGE YOUR ANDROID

If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.
After following the above mention steps follow the below mention guide one by one to proceed with the tutorial. All the above mention steps are very important, so do follow all the steps and do exactly what is told.

Download AOSP 7.0 Nougat ROM for OnePlus One

Step 1. Doanload the ROM and Gapps Zip file form above and place both the file sin your phone intenral memry.
Step 2. Now Boot your device into TWRP Recovery mode by press and hold “Volume Down+Power Button”
Step 3. Once you are in recovery mode. Now in TWRP, create a Nandroid backup (Recommended) of your device for safer side, if anything goes wrong.
Srep 4. Now fprm the main mewnu of TWRP go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System, and data and swipe to confirm it.
Step 5. Now, Go to Install and locate the ROM zip file & swipe to Install the ROM file. After the process completes, Flash the GApps zip file.
Step 6. Now wipe cache & Dalvik cache again and Reboot your device.
Step 7. Done!
Now your phone is running on the Android 7.0.

Step 1. Download “Minimal ADB and Fastboot” and install from the above mention link.

Using FLASHER TOOLKIT To Root Redmi 3S/Prime/3X

Step 1. Download “Minimal ADB and Fastboot” and install from the above mention link and download “UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76.zip” and move to the “Download” folder of your phone.
Step 2. After doing this connect your phone to the PC with USB cable.
Step 3. Now unzip the FLASHER TOOLKIT and run the “FLASHER TOOLKIT LANDv1.bat” in Administrator mode.

How to Install Custom Recovery and Root the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace

I. Before You Begin

1. This could void the warranty of your device. We won’t be held responsible for anything that happens from doing this tutorial so please proceed at your own risk.
2. You must have a Windows based PC in order to do this procedure as the tool that you’re going to use is Windows only.
3. You should have Samsung USB drivers installed on your PC. If they aren’t, install them first.
4. This should also flash a custom recovery called TWRP on your device.
5. You should only try this on the SM-J110 variant of the device. To find out what variant you have, head to Menu > Settings > About phone and you should see it listed there.

How to Root the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace

To root the device, what you’ll do is first flash a custom recovery and then use that recovery to flash SuperSU to obtain access to the root. Here’s how that is done:

II. Downloading Required Files

1. Download Odin and save it to your desktop.
2. Download TWRP Recovery and save it to your desktop.

3. Download SuperSU and save it to your desktop.

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace

1. Extract files from Odin over to your desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
2. Double-click on the Odin executable and it will launch.
3. When Odin launches, click on the button that says PDA and navigate to your desktop and select TWRP Recovery .tar to be flashed on your device.
4. Uncheck Repartition in the Odin if it’s already checkmarked.
5. You can checkmark both Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options in the Odin.
6. Turn off your device.
7. Turn your device back on in download mode by holding down Volume DOWN, Home, and Power buttons together for a few seconds.
8. Press Volume UP and you should be in download mode.
9. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.
10. Click on Start in the Odin and it should start flashing TWRP on your device.
11. Wait for the Odin to flash TWRP on your device.
12. When the Odin’s done flashing TWRP, your device should automatically reboot.
Congrats! You have successfully flashed TWRP custom recovery on your Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace, and now here’s how you can use this newly installed recovery to root your device:

IV. Rooting the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace

1. Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
2. Copy SuperSU .zip from your desktop over to the internal SD card storage on your device.
3. When SuperSU is copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
4. Turn off your device.
5. Turn your device back on in TWRP Recovery mode. To do that, hold down Volume UP, Home, and Power buttons together for a few seconds.
6. Your device should reboot into the recovery mode.
7. Tap on Install in the recovery menu.
8. Navigate to the internal SD card storage and select SuperSU .zip to be installed on your device.
9. Hit Swipe to Confirm Flash when prompted.
10. TWRP should begin flashing SuperSU on your device. It should not take too long to do that.
11. When TWRP’s done flashing SuperSU, reboot your device by selecting Reboot followed by System in the recovery menu.
12. Your device should reboot.

How to Install Custom Recovery and Root the Oppo R7 Lite

I. Before You Begin

1. This could void the warranty of your device. We won’t be held responsible for anything that happens from doing this tutorial so please proceed at your own risk.
2. You must have a Windows based PC in order to do this procedure.
3. You should have Universal ADB drivers installed on your Windows PC. Install them if they aren’t already.
4. This should also flash a custom recovery on your device.
5. You should only do this on a Oppo R7 Lite (R7kf) device.

How to Root the Oppo R7 lite

Root the Oppo R7 Lite
To root and flash a custom recovery on the device, you’ll use an app that will gain root and then you’ll use fastboot to flash the recovery. Here’s how you can do that:

II. Downloading Required Files

1. Download Fastboot and save it to your desktop.
2. Download Oppo Tools APK and save it to your desktop.

3. Download Custom Recovery and save it to your desktop.

III. Rooting the Oppo R7 Lite

1. Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
2. Copy Oppo Tools APK from your desktop over to the internal SD card storage on your device.
3. When the APK’s copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
4. Head to Menu > Settings > Security and turn on Unknown sources.
5. Launch File Manager and tap on Oppo Tools APK to install the app on your device.
6. When the app’s installed, launch it from your app drawer.
7. Tap on the Common tab in the app.

9. Tap on the One Key Root button.

10. The app should begin rooting your device and you need to reboot your device once it’s rooted.
And there you go!
Root access has been successfully achieved on your Oppo R7 Lite, and here’s how you can go about flashing a custom recovery on your device:

IV. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Oppo R7 Lite

1. Extract files from Fastboot over to your desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
2. Head to Menu > Settings > About phone on your device and tap on Build number for 7-8 times and it’ll say you’re a developer. It means it has unlocked the developer menu on your device.
3. Head to the unlocked menu at Menu > Settings > Developer options and turn on the option that says USB debugging.
4. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.
5. Open a command prompt window on your desktop by holding down Shift and right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting Open command window here.
6. When the command prompt window opens, type in the following command and press Enter:
adb reboot bootloader
7. Your device should reboot into bootloader mode.
8. Next up, type in the following command and hit Enter. Make sure to replace recovery.img with the actual name of the recovery image you have downloaded on your PC.

9. It should start flashing the recovery on your device. Let it do so.
10. When it’s done flashing recovery, reboot your device using the following command:
fastboot reboot
11. Your device should reboot.

How to Unlock, Install Custom Recovery And Root the HTC One A9

Before You Begin

1. This could void the warranty of your device. We won’t be held responsible for anything that happens from doing this tutorial so please proceed at your own risk.
2. You must have a Windows based PC to do this procedure.
3. You should have ADB drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, your PC won’t be able to recognize your device.
4. This should erase all the data stored on your device, so please backup everything that you’ll need later on.
5. This should also flash a custom recovery on your device.

How to Root the HTC One A9

Root the HTC One A9
To root the device, you’ll first unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery, and then install the Superuser app on the device. Here’s how:

II. Downloading Required Files

1. Download Fastboot and save it to your desktop.
2. Download Custom Recovery and save it to your desktop.

III. Unlocking the Bootloader on the HTC One A9

1. Extract files from Fastboot over to your desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
2. Head over to the HTCDev Bootloader website and follow the instructions for getting an unlock token for your device using which you can unlock the bootloader on your device.
3. Make sure that the unlock token that you’ve received from HTC is named as Unlock_code.bin.
4. Turn off your device.
5. Turn your device back on in fastboot mode. To do that, hold down Volume DOWN and Power buttons together for a few seconds.
6. Select fastboot from the bootloader menu appearing on your device.
7. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.
8. Launch a Command Prompt Window on your desktop by holding down Shift and right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting Open command window here.
9. Type in the following command into the Command Prompt Window and hit Enter:
fastboot devices
10. Your device should show up in the list.
11. Type in the following command and hit Enter:
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
12. Confirm the prompt on your device and your bootloader will be unlocked.
Now that your bootloader is unlocked, let’s flash the boot image that will then allow you to root your device. Here’s how:

IV. Flashing a Boot Image on the HTC One A9

1. Extract files from Boot Image archive over to your desktop by right-clicking on the archive and selecting Extract here.
2. Head to Menu > Settings > About phone on your device and tap on Build number for 7-8 times and it’ll say you’re a developer. That’ll unlock the developer options menu on your device.
3. Head to Menu > Settings > Developer options and turn on USB debugging.
4. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.
5. Open a command prompt window on your desktop by holding down Shift and right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting Open command window here.
6. Type in the following command into the window and hit Enter:
adb devices
7. Your device should show up on the list.
8. Type in the following command and hit Enter:
adb reboot download
9. Your device should reboot into the download mode.
10. Enter in the following command into the command prompt window and press Enter. Make sure to replace bootimage.img with the actual name of the boot image that you have downloaded on your PC.
fastboot flash boot bootimage.img
11. Wait for it to flash the boot image on your device.
12. When the boot image has been flashed, issue the following command to reboot into the bootloader mode:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
13. Select Recovery from the bootloader menu to boot into the recovery mode.
14. Select wipe data/factory reset from the recovery menu.
15. Confirm the prompt and wait for it to factory reset your device.
16. When factory resetting’s done, reboot your device.
The boot image was successfully flashed on your HTC One A9. Here’s how you can go about flashing a custom recovery on your device:

V. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the HTC One A9

1. Right-click on Custom Recovery and select Extract here to extract the recovery file.
2. Turn off your device.
3. Reboot your device into fastboot mode by holding down Volume DOWN and Power buttons together for a few seconds.
4. Choose fastboot from the options appearing on your screen.
5. Plug in your device to your PC using a USB cable.
6. Open a command prompt window on your desktop by holding down Shift and right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting Open command window here.
7. Type in the following command into the command prompt window and hit Enter. Make sure to replace recovery.img with the actual name of the recovery image that you’ve downloaded to your PC.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
8. Wait for it to flash a custom recovery on your device.
9. When it’s done flashing recovery, reboot your device.
You now have a custom recovery up and running on your HTC One A9. Here’s how you can go about rooting your device:

VI. Rooting the HTC One A9

1. Extract files from both SU and Superuser over to your desktop by right-clicking on each of them and selecting Extract here.
2. Turn off your device.
3. Turn your device back on in custom recovery mode. To do that, hold down Volume DOWN and Power buttons together for a few seconds.
4. Select Recovery from the bootloader menu and you’ll boot into the recovery mode.
5. Open a command prompt window on your desktop by holding down Shift and right-clicking anywhere on the screen and selecting Open command window here.
6. Type in the following command into the command prompt window and hit Enter:
mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p62 /data
7. It should mount the /data/ folder to write files.
8. Type in the following command and hit Enter:
adb push su.img /data/su.img
9. It’ll push SU over to the /data/ folder on your device.
10. Reboot your device using the reboot system now option in the recovery menu.
11. Ensure that your device is still plugged in to your PC.
12. Type in the following command into the command prompt window and hit Enter:
adb install superuser.apk
13. It should install the Superuser app on your device.
14. You should now be rooted!
