After using custom ROMs for some time, you may be thinking to get back to the stock ROM. So, here we have a guide on how you can unroot the HTC Desire HD smartphone.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. This will reinstate the warranty that you lost after rooting your device.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Official RUU
III. Unrooting the HTC Desire HD:
1. Download and place the Official RUU file on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Connect your HTC Desire HD to the PC using the USB cable.
3. Double-click the RUU file to begin the flashing process.
4. Follow the instructions displayed on your screen to flash the stock ROM on your device.
5. You can disconnect the smartphone from the PC after the ROM has been flashed on it.
Good job! You are now running on the latest Stock ROM with no root access and no modifications. The pure Android experience that you get when you buy a new device !!!
