How to root LG Nitro HD

Root the LG Nitro HD running ICS
Want to root your LG Nitro HD smartphone running the Ice Cream Sandwich firmware? No problem, here’s how you can do that. The old root method that used to work on older firmwares doesn’t seem to work on the latest ICS and therefore the developers were forced to find a new way to root this device. Fortunately, a root method has been found that works pretty well on the device and here’s how you can root your Nitro HD with this new method:By EditAndroid

I. BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

1. As you may already know, rooting voids the warranty of the device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.

II. DOWNLOADING REQUIRED FILES:

1. Root Package

III. ROOTING THE LG NITRO HD RUNNING ICS:

1. Place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Run the file named as RunMe.bat available on your Desktop.
6. Choose Normal mode as the rooting mode in the tool.
7. It will start rooting your device, should take a couple of minutes to finish.
8. Reboot your device once it’s been rooted.
9. You’re done!
Brilliant! You’ve successfully rooted your LG Nitro HD running ICS and now go ahead and load your device up with the latest root-only apps!
