How to Unroot the T-Mobile G-Slate (v909)

Sick and tired of using root on your T-Mobile G-Slate? Want to unroot your device so you can get its warranty back? Either way, this guide should help you. Unrooting the T-Mobile G-Slate is as easy as flashing the stock firmware and you’re good to go. Here’s how:By EditAndroid

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. This procedure works for the v909 model only.

III. Unrooting the T-Mobile G-Slate (v909):

1. Place both files you’ve downloaded to your Desktop.
2. Extract files from both the archives over to your Desktop.
3. Turn OFF your device.
4. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.
5. Your device should reboot into apex mode.
6. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.
7. Open a Command Prompt Window on your Desktop. To do that, simply hold down the Shift button and right-click anywhere on your Desktop and choose Open command window here.
8. Type in following command into the Command Prompt Window you just opened:
nvflash --bct v909.bct --setbct --configfile flash.cfg --create --bl bootloader.bin --odmdata 0x3b048000 --sbk 0xe3baffc6 0xa9585c23 0xe21b497b 0x793d1932 --go
9. It should install the stock firmware on your device.
10. Once it’s done, simply use the Reset button given inside your battery cover to reset your device.
11. And you’re done!
Brilliant! You’ve successfully unrooted your T-Mobile G-Slate v909 device and it won’t accept root-only apps any longer!
