  • Open Kingo Root Tool after installation.
  • Connect your device to PC with USB cable.
  • Now, Let him install drivers in your PC.
  • Now the Kingo Root Tool will show Disconnect Your Device message.
  • Unplug your device from PC.
  • When Kingo Root Tool show Installation Succeeded, Reconnect your device to PC with USB Cable.

How To Root Sony Xperia Acro S:

  • Follow all the instructions given above.
  • Download all files from Download Section.
  • Install flashtool .exe file in your PC.
  • After installation of flashtool, Copy Xperia_Acro_S_LT26w_6.2.B.0.211_KernelOnly.ftf  to C:\Flashtool\firmwares on your harddrive.
  • Now open the flashtool application and click on flash icon (One with a thunder symbol).
  • You will see two options  Flash Mode and Fastboot Mode, Select Flash Mode option.
  • Choose Xperia_Acro_S_LT26w_6.2.B.0.211_KernelOnly.ftf and click on OK.  Follow the on-screen instructions on how to boot your device into fastboot mode and connect your device.  Also, make sure “No Final Verification” is marked.
  • Now it will reboot your device.
  • Now Enable USB Debugging and Unknow Sources installation in your device.
  • Connect your device to PC with USB cable.
  • Make sure Flash Tool is not running on your PC now. Terminate Flash Tool from task manager.
  • Now extract DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v18_perf-event-exploit.zip on desktop.
  • Open the extracted folder and double-click on runme_win.bat.
  • Follow on-screen instructions and wait to completion of process.
  • Your device is rooted now.
  • Now flash the original kernel on your device.
  • Copy Xperia_Acro_S_LT26w_6.2.B.1.96_KernelOnly.ftf  to C:\Flashtool\firmwares on your harddrive.
  • Now open the flashtool application and click on flash icon (One with a thunder symbol).

How To Root and Install CWM Recovery:

  • Download and copy Z1c_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW.img ( DooMLoRD Custom Kernel Download from above) file to the platform-tools folder on your computer. This directory is found in Android SDK.
  • Now turn off the phone, then press and hold the Volume Up button and connect the device to the computer with a USB-cable to boot your device into Fastboot Mode.
  • Launch a command prompt in the platform-tools folder. To do this, press Shift + Right-click at an empty space in the folder where the Fastboot and the .img file are present. See picture below:

  • Turn your phone off and then turn it on. Just as the notification LED lights up, press the Volume Up/Down key for a couple of times. You should now enter the CWM Recovery mode.
  • Using the volume keys, scroll to “install zip” option and select the UPDATE-SuperSU-vx.xx.zip.
  • Confirm the installation by pressing the Power button.
  • Finally, return to the main menu in CWM and select “reboot system now” option.
  • Now your device will reboot again.
  • SuperUser app is installed in your device. Now open Google Playstore and install Busybox installer in your device.

2. Download Required Files:

  1. Pre-Rooted Stock Firmware

3. How To Root Sony Xperia Z Ultra:

  1. Unlock bootloader of your device first.
  2. Install CWM and TWRP custom recovery in your device first.Click Here
  3. Download the Pre-rooted stock firmware file.
  4. Transfer the pre-rooted firmware to your device's external storage.
  5. Now Press Power+Volume Up button until Sony Logo to boot into recovery mode (Make sure custom recovery is installed Click Here if not installed).
  6. Now you are in CWM custom recovery.
  7. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and select yes to confirm then Wipe Cache Partition and select yes to confirm and at last Wipe Dalvik Cache from advanced menu and select yes to confirm.
  8. Now go back to Recovery Home and select install zip from sd card then select choose zip from internal sdcard.
  9. Select the download and transfered pre-rooted stock firmware and select yes to confirm the installation.
  10. After successful installation, go back to recovery menu.
  11. Select reboot system now.

1. Before You Begin:

  1. Working for Sony Xperia SP with Unlocked Bootloader
  2. Windows-based computer or laptop
  3. Download Sony Xperia SP USB driver for Windows and install in your computer.
  4. Skip this step if you have installed the Sony Companion.
  5. Enable USB Debugging on your device.
  6. Make sure your phone is charged to 60% 80% to avoid battery blackout and interruption during this tutorial.

2. Download Required Files:

  1. Kernel For Sony Xperia SP
  2. Fastboot+ADB(20926)

3. Install Custom Recovery In Sony Xperia SP:

  1. Unlock Bootloader of your device first.
  2. Download & Extract the Fastboot folder from the Fastboot+ADB zip file at your desktop.
  3. Download the Kernel_en.elf and copy it to the Fastboot>Win32 folder.
  4. Rename the copied Kernel_en.elf to Kernel.elf
  5. Turn Off your device completely.
  6. Enter into fastboot mode by connecting your device to PC with USB cable while pressing Volume Up button.
  7. Now open the Folder Fastboot>Win32 and Press & Hold Shift key and press right click of mouse and select open command window here.
  8. CMD window will appear on the desktop.
  9. Type fastboot flash boot kernel.elf to flash the kernel in your device.

1. Before Your Begin:
  1. Your Device must be Rooted and Custom Recovery & Unlocked Bootloader (If your device if not rooted and unlocked & custom recovery please follow this guide).
2. Download Required Files:
  1. DoomKernel (Donate DoomLord for his great work)
3. Overclocking Of Sony Xperia Z:
  1. Plug in your device via USB.
  2. Copy the kernel .zip file to the internal storage of your device.
  3. Unplug the device.
  4. Open XZRecovery (should be installed by the end of out how to root procedure) and click Reboot Recovery.
  5. Once in recovery mode, tap Backup, swipe to backup, and then wait for it to backup.
  6. Hit back.
  7. Tap Install and scroll down to find the kernel .zip file and install it.
  8. Once it’s flashed, hit back.
  9. Hit Reboot > System.
  10. Go to the Play Store.
  11. Search for and install No-frills CPU Control.
  12. Open No-frills CPU Control.
  13. Make sure Set on Boot is OFF.
  14. Tap on the Max Clock Frequency dropdown and select the next highest frequency (do NOT jump to the highest frequency), then hit Apply, and then use the phone for a bit normally.
  15. If there are no issues, then go back to the app and try the next highest frequency, then hit Apply, and then use the phone for a bit normally.
  16. Repeat until you get to the highest frequency the device will allow (if it crashes or reboots then you know to use the frequency just below that one that it didn’t crash on).
  17. Once you’ve settled on a new max frequency, you can check Set on Boot to have it automatically apply the new max frequency every time the phone starts (you wouldn’t want to set this before you know which frequency is good for you because otherwise if it crashed from a frequency it would just constantly crash since that frequency would be set every time the phone turned on).

3. Install Recovery in the Sony Xperia SP:
  1. Unlock Sony Xperia SP bootloader. Proceed to official Sony website and unlock your device.
  2. Proceed after you have successfully unlocked the bootloader.
  3. Setup fastboot in your computer if you do not have it. (How to setup ADB and Fastboot driver with Android SDK). Skip if you have done in Step 1.
  4. Once you have completed the setup, copy adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll from C:\\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools and fastboot.exe in C:\\android-sdk-windows\tools to a new folder at the desktop, renamed it as fastboot.
  5. Download kernel_en.elf to the fastboot folder. Rename kernel_en.elf to kernel.elf. 
  6. Power off your device completely.
  7. Enter Fastboot Mode by connecting your device to the computer via micro USB cable while pressing Volume Up button.
  8. In computer, open Command Prompt windows. (To Open Command Prompt –>Windows Logo–> Type CMD in search box –>Enter)
  9. Type cd C:\fastboot in the command prompt windows to navigate to your fastboot folder.
  10. Type fastboot flash boot boot.img to flash the kernel file to your device.
  11. Press and hold Power button to turn off your device.
  12. Download root checker to check your root status.

How To Root Sony Xperia SP

Sony Xperia SP have been officially unveiled back in April 2013. With the dual core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, Xperia SP is still one of the best mid range smartphone in the market. Although it is released merely two month, XDA developers already came out with the pre-rooted kernel which helps to root your Sony Xperia SP.

1. Before You Begin:

  1. Working for Sony Xperia SP with Unlocked Bootloader
  2. Windows-based computer or laptop
  3. Download Sony Xperia SP USB driver for Windows and install in your computer.
  4. Skip this step if you have installed the Sony Companion.
  5. Enable USB Debugging on your device.
  6. Make sure your phone is charged to 60% 80% to avoid battery blackout and interruption during this tutorial.
  7. We recommend you make a backup on your data and media files before the tutorial.

2. Downloading Required Files:

  1. Extened Stock Kernel (Zip File,Size 8mb)

3. Rooting the Sony Xperia SP:

  1. Unlock Sony Xperia SP bootloader. Proceed to official Sony website and unlock your device.
  2. Proceed after you have successfully unlocked the bootloader.

How to Unroot the Sony Xperia ZL

Unroot the Sony Xperia ZL
You may want to unroot your Xperia ZL for various reasons, maybe you need your lost warranty back or you just don’t need root-access anymore, this guide will help you unroot your device. Bin4ry’s method that we used to root the device, can also be used to unroot the device and this guide shows exactly how you can do that. So, follow all the steps in the guide below and get your device unrooted.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, then the following procedure may or may not work for you.
2. The following procedure works on Windows based PCs only.

III. Unrooting the Sony Xperia ZL:

1. Download and place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Once enabled, connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Now launch the Root Tool by double-clicking on RunMe.bat file you’ve on your Desktop.
6. Select Unroot option in the tool and follow the on-screen instructions.
7. And you should be unrooted now!
