
Need to send in your device for any warranty purpose? Want to unroot it so you can reinstate its warranty? No problem, here’s how you can do that. Flashing the stock firmware on your device will unroot it and get it back to stock in no time. So, here goes our guide on how to unroot the ZTE Blade smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:
1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. You must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your device. If you don’t, get it from here.
3. Your device should have at least 70% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Stock ROM

2. Quick Boot — QR Code (Google Play Link)
III. Unrooting the ZTE Blade:
1. Download and place the Stock ROM onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the Stock ROM file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Unplug the device from your PC once the file’s been copied.
5. Now head over to Google Play and install the Quick Boot app on your device.
6. Once installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
7. Tap Recovery option in the app and it’ll reboot your device into Recovery mode.
8. From the Recovery menu, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.
9. Choose the Stock ROM file you copied earlier for flashing.
10. It’ll take a while to flash the ROM, so be patient.
11. Once it’s done, reboot your device.
12. And you’re done!
